What size zipper slider do you need?

There are many types of sliders, according to the type of zipper: metal chain sliders, resin (nylon) chain sliders, plastic steel chain sliders, sealed chain sliders, reverse chain sliders, film plastic sealing sliders, etc. Why are these types of zipper heads divided? Can’t it be unified into one type? Generally speaking, the sliders cannot be used universally because the width and thickness of different types of zippers are different. In order to match the zipper, the size of the slider on the nylon zipper, plastic steel zipper and metal zipper is different.

Nylon zipper head: The overall shape of the slider body is generally semi-circular. Because only one side of the nylon zipper has teeth at the seam of the zipper head, the seam is wider on one side and narrower on the other.

Metal zipper head: The overall zipper head has edges and corners or obvious edges and corners. Since there are teeth on both sides, the side seams are the same width on both sides.

Plastic steel zipper head: The whole zipper head is semi-circular arc or butterfly shape. Since there are teeth on both sides, the side seams are the same width on both sides.

Pull head classification:

1. According to material: zinc alloy, copper material, plastic

2. According to the BODY forming method: casting type slider, stamping type slider, injection type slider

3. According to the characteristics of use: locking slider, non-locking slider, semi-automatic locking slider

4. According to the type of zipper: metal chain puller, resin (nylon) chain puller, plastic steel chain puller, sealed chain puller, reverse-installed chain puller, film plastic sealing puller, etc.

5. According to the type of electroplating: gold-plated (copper) slider, nickel-plated slider, alloy-plated slider, nickel-free slider, flash gold slider, etc.

6. According to the type of spray paint: bright paint slider, matte paint slider, semi-matte slider, color printing slider, lead-free (paint) slider, etc.

(1) Auto lock slider (Auto lock slider), referred to as self-locking slider, the slider's nose has a small self-locking stopper, which can be automatically inserted between the teeth to lock the slider under the action of the spring force. When opening and closing the zipper, lift the pull tab to take the small stopper off the chain.

The automatic zipper head has:

a. Single-pull self-locking head (one way A/L slider Figure 2-21a), the upper plate (pulling nose) of the slider is equipped with an automatic locking slider with a pull-tab.

Uses: The most commonly used models, children, adult clothing, shoes, etc. are almost all used.

Non lock slider - A slider with no lock function. It also has odds and doubles.

Use: luggage

a. Single-pull non-locking slider: the upper plate of the slider is equipped with a non-locking slider with a pull-tab.

b. Double-pull non-locking slider: the upper and lower plates of the slider are each equipped with a non-locking slider with a pull tab.

c. Rotating the lock-free slider: the pull tab can go around the upper and lower plates of the slider. The surrounding lock-free slider.

d. With a keyhole and no lock slider: there is one or two parallel lock holes on the upper plate of the slider body, which are used on the "O" type zipper, and the two sliders can be locked with a lock after the zipper is closed.
